Once upon a time... Rose et Marius...

Sometimes a simple childhood memory is sufficient to model a life – a memory buried deep in the heart, like an indelible mark which ends up shaping a destiny. The destiny of Magali Fleurquin- Bonnard is tied to certain scents. Those that greeted her arrival in Provence, reminiscent of delightful strolls at dusk when the hills exhale the earth’s vapours. Those of fennel blossom and everlasting flowers, so emblematic of her region and the story of her life.

A singular and authentic story which she shares through unique and precious objects: porcelain beakers decorated with tile patterns inspired by the 17th century family home and candles perfumed with the fragrances of her childhood.

Just like she remembers the white light that drenched the South of France, the games that children played and above all the multicoloured cement tiles that decorated the floors of her grandmother’s Provencal country home in Puget-sur-Argens. Objects designed to convey emotions that each and every one can make their own and use to embellish their lives, engraving their own memories and passing them on in their turn. Indeed, if Magali draws from her memory to create her exceptional collections and fashions contemporary objects using the ink of the past, her desire is to bring them to life in the era of her century.
