PRUDENCE

Born in Australia. where she studied design, Prudence left her birthplace to further her career in New York working for prestigious designers such as Ralph Lauren and Browns in London. In 1987 she married a lawyer working in Hong Kong and there she created her own lingerie collection, “Prudenzia”, specializing in beautiful silk creations which were marketed internationally.

In 1998, she and her husband settled in south west France, where they had already purchased a farm. There she was inspired to fulfill a lifelong dream to design and create her own fragrances. Working with a talented 3rd generation chemist whose family had been part of the perfume establishment in Grasse, she has meticulously created a complete collection of 14 fragrances for women, 3 for girls and younger women, a sophisticated line of perfumes for men as well as one with veterinary approval for the family pet!

Prudence has also designed beautiful packaging for her creations, using handmade pure cotton based paper in the Perigordine based Moulin de Larroque, which holds the much coveted French artisanal ca-chet EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant). The paper has ecological advantages as it is wood pulp free and 100% recyclable. Her collection truly embodies her commitment to the excellence of the niche world and products made in France.
