"The Altaï Mountains, Kazakhstan: a remote corner of the country, squeezed between China and Mongolia, where the harsh conditions are only rivalled by the wild beauty of the landscape. Here, nature is in its primal state and the vast open spaces generate an intoxicating impression of freedom. In the distance an eagle swoops on its prey and in its wake a majestic Kazakh cavalcade."
Ella K's Melodie De 'LAltai has a decidedly primal instinct to it. The most animalic perfume of the brand's collection, it delivers a deliciously savage bite from the first spray. The melange of bright saffron, styrax, leather and fur is turned up loud, but it's far from the defining accord of the perfume. Something green in the mix personifies the kind of vast, airy landscape hinted at in the above description and much like elemental nature itself the juice is both sweet and sour, primitive and complex at the same time.
