1793 is the second La Maison Hedonique collaboration with the Countess of Carnarvon of Highclere Castle (the real Downton Abbey). 1793 was the year that the family first came into Earldom. The perfume takes its inspiration from The Peach House in the Monks’ Garden at Highclere Castle, where The Countess of Carnarvon grows flowers to decorate the castle.
1793 is a dewy rose with an almost bitter green heart that stops any hint of cloying. Fresh and natural, the rose softens into a cashmere-soft musky embrace that lasts and lasts. This is a rose you can wear all day - it's sensual yet fresh.
